– DC-15A Rifle
— Plasma gases built up inside power cartridges free one from the burden of carrying around ammunition. However, that means that such a weapon is hard to aim with. The DC-15A is no exception. Being a powerful weapon, stopping opponents in a couple of shots, this assault rifle is a close to mid-range weapon. When mounted on a tripod, and used by an incredible marksman, it can be used up to ten kilometers away and still hit, but few can do such. The gas cartridge is capable of storing up to five hundred rounds worth of gas in it, or fifty shots per clip when on the highest power. Capable of putting a .05 meter hole into concrete at the highest power.
– Dual DC-17 Sidearms
— Powered by power-cell cartridges, these weapons fire blue bolts of plasma at their enemies. Though used by people of high military standards, it takes a decent amount of skill to aim with. Though not very accurate or strong, the pistol has a high stopping and firing rate, forcing many to fall back at least. Not favored by many, but at least reliable when more than one is used.
– Concussion Grenades
— Though not usually able to kill enemies in a single shot, these things pack enough power to send somebody flying a good five feet. He can only carry two of them, and therefore is limited to using them only when there are large groups of enemies.
– Dual Tonfa Swords
— Reminiscent of a nightstick used by police forces, tonfa swords are basically the same thing, but with a blade on the end of it. Used as weapons for close range combat, or when all else fails, these dual-edged, dully pointed weapons take incredible amounts of speed and dexterity to use correctly. They can be used as normal short swords if the fight calls for simplistic movement, or held by the handles extending from the sides for more tactical situations. To be used to their fullest extent, he carries around two of them to be used in unison.
– Hidden Daggers
— The absolute final line of defense, these katar-like daggers are hidden in the forearm plates of his suit. Dual-edged and finely pointed, these devices are likely only to be used when all other forms of weaponry are unavailable, or a surprise attack that requires silence.
- Special Abilities
– Can temporarily “switch off” his body to appear dead, making all vital signs disappear, for a maximum of a day, due to surgical modifications. Can also speed up movements temporarily, but at the risk of eventual death.
- Description
– Looks like an average human, standing at 5'10, with no real distinctive features, except for his hand, which was not seen while he wore armor. His skin became a pale white after wearing the armor for extended periods of time. The armor itself is white, with orange markings on it, and worn over a black jumpsuit.
- Biography
– CT-11/19-2017 began his life as little more than a theory. A long line of androids and clones created in the image of a single being were being created and experimented on. Stripped of their childhood, these beings found themselves under a rapid growth-acceleration, with a whole year of their lives only taking mere months. Trained by holographic images known as “flash-training” they were brought up to do only one thing: Obey orders, and crush their enemy. If they found any defects or possibility of them, they found themselves disappearing at some point at night without a trace. Part of the eleventh series of the clones, created in the nineteenth sector, and the two thousand seventeenth successful unit, he was brought up under the same circumstances as the others. With the difference being, he felt the need to be trained in forms of combat other than firearms, resulting in his training with bladed weaponry.
After being successful in this training, he was placed into a unit that was tasked with delicate work; Infiltration, sabotage, silencing those who were against the government, and sometimes guarding important things (Such as people or objects). Often during assassinations, these units would be forced to follow their target until they had a clear shot. Often, their target would be giving speeches to the public, and sometimes even writing something for others to see at a later date. Though advised against it, 2017 would often listen to the speeches, and read the words in front of him. He soon realized that it was true; He was on the wrong side. He stayed silent about the issue for years to come, even to the rest of the unit, who were practically family (After all, an army of one man would have to be).
However, there finally came a mission that became an issue in his life. Tasked with the requirement of guarding an important piece of equipment during a project that, in his understanding, the project would give the user unimaginable power. He didn’t know whether literal or metaphorical. However, as the project was coming to its end, a few rebels stormed the place. He himself was forced to shoot so many down that he had run out of ammunition, and forced to follow up with the katar-like daggers hidden in his armor. The mission appeared to be capable of success, regardless of the fight going on. However, as a grenade rolled under the object, he was forced to abandon the fight in an attempt to retrieve it. Just before he could, however, the grenade detonated, taking his hand with it. Shrapnel from the machine impaled through his chest, severing part of his spine.
After the mission, which resulted in failure, he was taken back to base along with the rest of his squad, which had lost a member in the fight. He was experimented on repeatedly at this point, due to being considered already dead unless the experiments were a success. They were, and he was fitted with a prosthetic hand, granting him greater abilities with his bladed weaponry. They used a steel rod to replace the broken part of his spine, giving him back his former abilities. With the help of a clockwork-like device, he was able to speed up his movements to an extent, or switch himself “off” on command for an entire day, appearing dead. This made him capable of deceiving his enemies to the point where he could easily infiltrate their bases. What he did not know, however, was that they rigged it so that should he ever not obey orders, he would be killed.
Finally, he expressed his thoughts about the situation. He wasn’t angry that he was defeated, rather than he appreciated their valor. However, when this became the case, he was apprehended and taken into a prison, where his memories as a soldier were soon wiped, and was told they would eventually reprogram him. However, the training remained intact, though he never had any memory of doing it. This was the only thing that kept him from death, as they did not wish to put the training to waste. His only remaining goal was to get out.
